MEMS Power Generation and Gillingham FC are both delighted with the new football kit for the team which proudly displays the new sponsor's logo. The sponsorship deal with Gillingham FC also sees the football ground being renamed the MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
Gillingham FC travelled the short distance from Priestfield Rd to Beechings Way to MEMS to unveil its new football strip. The team along with manager, Andy Hessenthaler and club chairman Paul Scally, lined up with the players and Gillingham FC's new cheerleaders for the team photographs.
MEMS chairman, Colin Jarvis, commented, "The early start to the season so far has been fantastic, the new strip looks great and I am sure we will be in line or thereabouts for promotion this season."
Gills manager, Andy Hessenthaler was equally optimistic about having Gillingham based MEMS on board as its main sponsor. "Having MEMS as a main sponsor is important and is fantastic for us. Colin Jarvis, the chairman of MEMS is a big fan of the club and passionate that we succeed."
