About the role
You will work alongside key account managers in front line sales, representing MEMS as the brand leader in temporary power solutions. Working within the sales team you’ll be the face of MEMS whilst focusing on creating positive first impressions and building potential customer relationships.
With full training provided you will play a key role in the process of sales; planning; development and management of the relationship between our business and our clients. You will engage in a variety of tasks including relationship management, delivery of high quality and in depth proposals, negotiation and leadership within a challenging but rewarding environment, allowing you to broaden your skills and sales techniques to enable you to grow and develop with the business.
Your responsibilities will include
– Discussion and negotiation of client’s requirements;
– Management of proposal production within a timely deadline;
– Answering queries and providing advice;
– Design and implement Action Plan in regards to the sales cycle;
– Complete commercial checks and place purchase orders;
– Provide a detailed internal job handover to the rental team;
– Continuous client visits and ongoing management of accounts.
– Nationwide travel (therefore flexibility and a full driver licence is an essential requirement).
You will have ambition; show a strong desire to succeed and exude great customer service ethics. You will possess excellent face to face communication skills with the ease of influencing others through your negotiation abilities. You will have the ability to work independently or part of a team; show good time management and demonstrate initiative.
Title: Sales Trainee
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Salary: £20,000 to £23,000 (dependant on skill, knowledge and experience) + benefits
Duration: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm
Holiday: 20days + bank holidays
