Title: Commercial/Industrial Electrician
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Salary: Basic £38,000 + overtime + benefits + Company van
Duration: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Shift: 45hours per shift over 8days, averaging 39.6 hours per week, 7.30am to 5pm
Working weekends and bank holidays is a requirement
Holiday: 25days annual leave

About the role
To install temporary Generators and associated equipment into customers own applications as well as integrate with customers systems.

Key responsibilities:
– Installation of temporary generator supply;
– Testing and certification of electrical distribution equipment;
– generator fleet fault finding and repairs;
– assistance with training of apprentices and new members of staff;
– to maintain and repairs of various cables;
– out of hours call out service to complete generator repairs and servicing and
– assisting the sales team with generator project pricing.

About you
You will have, or be in the process of obtaining your Gold ECS card and possess the relevant qualifications / certification (L3 Electrotechnical Services / Electrical Installation / Apprenticeship) to that level, as well as a 17th / 18th edition certificate (or equivalent).

You will have a full drivers licence (travel is a requirement); be competent within Microsoft Office; have good organisational and time management skills and be physically fit.

Ideally experience with LV switchboards. You will pride yourself on your excellent customer service skills and “can do” attitude.
