About you

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and has a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.

You will have experience working in the renewable energy space previously and must have a keen interest in the topic.  You must have a passion to deliver exceptional customer experiences and the ability to excel in a premium business with a varying customer base.

You must show an enthusiasm for renewable energy and have a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector and understand alternatives to fossil fuel.

You must be a commercially minded individual that can demonstrate selling skills (identify, develop, proposition & articulate consultative selling) whilst also demonstrating a customer centric mindset, focusing on customer loyalty and satisfaction.

 

About the role

MEMS are seeking the services of a highly motivated and driven individual to help drive us on our journey to net zero.

The role focus will be on engaging with existing customers, supporting sales in conversations with prospects, train the customer on the product offering and advantages, promote new product adoption and provide post sale support.

Working closely with all departments to ensure MEMS are at the forefront in the adoption of greener technologies and developing a market-leading renewable energy product offering.

You will be joining an established Customer Development department that strives to offer our customers the best possible experience, from their first interactions with MEMS and throughout their journey with us.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Work with our Account Managers to identify and engage prospective customers for our renewable energy products & pricing.
  • Conduct customer demonstrations of our solutions and handle specific renewable energy queries.
  • Effectively onboard our customers to ensure mutual understanding of their needs, carry out follow up / refresher sessions where required.
  • Deliver tailored engagements (e.g., workshops) that help customers to maximize the value derived from MEMS renewable energy related solutions.
  • Communicate product updates to our customers and colleagues and ensuring training is carried out to support these changes.
  • Provide subject matter expert assistance to customers and colleagues – this person will be responsible for upskilling the business on renewable energy (both as a sector and on MEMS product offering) through departmental training sessions.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of how our customers consume renewable energy data and work closely with the product team to ensure our products and solutions meet our customers’ needs.
  • Effectively communicate customer feedback and enhancement suggestions to the product team to allow this to inform their product roadmap.
  • Assist with the launch of new products including testing and working with the product team on customer documentation.
  • Continuously measure, analyse, and improve our customer’s engagement and find new strategic ways to increase sales, engagement, and renewal rates.
  • Identify and successfully communicate, upsell and cross-sell opportunities to the Account Managers.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience to both prospective customers as well as existing.
  • Build rapport and interact with customers and existing staff.
  • Organize customer meetings and workshops.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals addressing the needs of our customers.
