About you
You will have excellent organisational and prioritising skills with good internal and external customer service along with the ability to negotiate.  This role will require you to have a clean UK driving licence along with basic computer literacy skills.

About the role
To assist in the day-to-day operation of the company stores department under the guidance of the store’s manager.  This will involve the sourcing, ordering, maintaining, and record-keeping of stock and non-stock items used by the business in its operations.

Key responsibilities

• Order, issue and record items/services required by the Company
• Loading and unloading of vehicles and containers
• Maintain stock levels
• Check and record goods in/out
• Source correct product at the best price
• Maintain records of equipment testing
• Complete stock checks
• Operate the Stores software system and ensure all records are up to date
• Maintaining the cleanliness of all stores and delivery areas
• Maintain COSHH records
• Reporting any maintenance and/or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty
• Maintain H&S; Quality and Environmental Standards as per the relevant Regulations and Manuals
