What the NVQ Level 3 Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician apprenticeship involves

The apprenticeship trains Technicians to:

  • Understand first-principles relating to the operation and maintenance of plant and equipment. 
  • Know relevant industry health & safety standards, regulations, and environmental and regulatory requirements. 
  • Apply maintenance and operational practices, processes and procedures covering a range of plant and equipment. 
  • Grasp the relevant engineering theories and principles relative to their occupation
